Shamanic Movement Medicine – Helen Whitehead

June 26 @ 1:00 pm4:00 pm
Shamanic Movement Medicine workshop with Helen Whitehead.
As a shamanic practitioner and a life-long student of spirituality and personal growth, Helen weaves a beautiful combination of music,
dance and ritual to create an authentic safe space that allows for deep exploration, creativity and growth. Helen has trained for many years in Movement Medicine which draws on ancient shamanic traditions and contemporary brainscience. She also has a background as mental health professional all of which gives rise to a practice which is both deeply serious andintentional, as well as dynamic, informed and playful. Helen is passionate about facilitating lasting transformation in her students. Creating a space that welcomes all of life’s beauty and challenges. Every thing is invited to move, breathe and be.As a big fan of integration Helen invites you to create a bridge, to
weave what you have learnt, back into your everyday life.
About the workshop:
Join Helen and her co-facilitator Kirsty Daley Sapiain for this Midsummer celebration. We’ll move and dance together to celebrate the peak of summer. There will be space to find, create and work with our truest desires and intentions, using music, dance and the community of other dancers as resources to help us. You will be guided step by step to find your intentions with courage and love.
Accessing and acknowledging the fears that both guide us and sometimes hold us back.“We fear that we are inadequate, but our deepest fear is that weare powerful beyond measure.” ~Marianne Williamson.
If you have danced a thousand times before or if this is your first time you are very welcome. No experience is necessary you will be
guided with suggestions of how to explore your own unique movement. Every Body is welcome.
